4 Powerful Bible Verses to Conquer Fear and Doubt!

I can only speak for myself, but it certainly feels like every day is a battle with unseen forces; these days.  Was it always this way? Perhaps to varying degrees, but life before 2020 didn't feel this way.  Sure, there were life struggles and challenges, but nothing like this!

If you can relate to this, I would like to share with you 4 simple scripture verses that can help safeguard your mind and soul from the daily onslaught, the fear porn, and the deception we find ourselves immersed in.  Remember that Satan (or 'the dark forces'  if you prefer) does NOT have authority over you.

We were all made in the image of God, with God's truth inscribed on our hearts  (we inherently know right from wrong), and that truth cannot be overwritten, but you can permit it to be replaced.  You have the free will to accept what is right or to accept what is wrong.

I would really like to share with you a fascinating video I watched (a few times) sometime around 2016 that really began to open my eyes to how Satan works (and takes hold) within this realm:

This video (in particular) really began to lay the foundation and understanding for me that the Devil is, in fact, real and how he operates within this living realm of ours, to affect our minds and capture our souls, and of course, the big question of "Why?"

I believe that this new layer of understanding is what led to my hard awakening later in March 2020, where the Devil showed his Hand to me, solidifying my conviction that he was undeniably real.  Since that day, I feel I have been in a raging spiritual war that some days has to be fought hour by hour.

Powerful Bible Verses

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5

This passage of the Bible reminds us to capture every thought.  We are the guardians of our thinking, and we can choose whether to accept God's truth or the Devil's lies.  It is estimated that the human mind can have up to 70,000 thought transitions every 24 hours.  It's tiresome to think of being the guardian of all of that! But instead of battling against it, an easier way is to direct its flow.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... - Proverbs 23:7

Instead of walking an uphill battle, it's easier to remind ourselves of this passage from Proverbs that tells us that we can shape our lives through what is imprinted on our hearts.  Remember that "Idle hands are the devil's workshop and idle lips are his mouthpiece".  So yes, the Devil does not appear (at least not for me) as a horned beast before you but rather as an idle or tortured soul that has lost their way, and become a vessel for darkness through their idleness. Their idle words and actions can cause great harm to others, and their souls can be void of conscience.

Whenever anxiety comes knocking on your heart, remember this:

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7

Disconnect from the enemy whenever you hear his whispers (quite simply, ANYTHING negative) and find God's peace (that quiet place within) where he will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind yourself that the moment you replace the enemy's lies with God's truth, his voice loses all authority over you.

When fear rises within you, fight it with this passage from Joshua:

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest - Joshua 1:9

And just like Satan, God is with you wherever you go! Never forget this truth, for the battle is won in our minds before we ever see it in our lives.
